Becoming a member of Beach de Lux is quite easy. Just fill out the membership application form, available in the Membership section. All further information can be found on that page.
The club organises a series of tournaments each year, focusing primarily on expanding the national 2vs2 tournament offer. Other tournaments are also offered, such as just-for-fun tournaments, charity tournaments or members’ exclusive tournaments. You can find all further information under Our Offer –> Tournaments.
Since the duration of the tournaments and the starting time of the first games depend on the number of registered teams, we have not given an exact time as for the individual tournaments. Depending on the number of teams, the tournaments usually start between 9am and 11am. The duration of the tournaments also depends on the number of teams and the playing mode. Usually, the first teams are out around 3pm or 4pm (depending on the tournament starting time), as this is usually the time to kick off the final rounds start. No final has ever lasted longer than 8 pm. The tournament schedule is usually sent to you by e-mail the evening before the tournament.
Becoming a Beach de Lux Member includes a license request at the FLVB. This means that when you become a member of the club, you will also get a license that enables you to take part in the training sessions. A ‘Loisir’ license is sufficient for the training. To apply for the ‘Loisir’ license, simply fill out the form found at the end of our membership application. We don’t need a ‘Medico’, photo or copy of your passport for a ‘Loisir’ license. If you want to participate in the national beach volleyball championship you need a ‘Joueur’ license.
Of course. And…you’re not the only one. You can register for the training sessions without a training partner, we’ll see that you find partners in the respective training groups. An exception is for the 4-person training groups, here the players should register with their partner (but you have to make 2 individual registrations here as well).
We want to offer you the best possible training and give you the choice between different group sizes. A smaller group allows a more intensive training because the coaches can invest more time on the individual players. For advanced players, the 4-person training groups are very interesting as they allow a more individual approach and the coaches can focus more on the individual weaknesses. Training in larger groups is recommended if you want to learn some basic techniques or refine your existing skills. However, beginners can of course also register for a group of 4 if there is sufficient demand. Likewise, advanced players can register for groups of 6 and 8 players. Up to you.

We won’t bite. First of all, we are a very open and friendly team of friends who are always ready to help and advise our members. And one more thing, practice makes perfect. Dalhausser, Lucena, Rogers, Reckermann, Ludwig, Ross and Jennings were not born champions either. Those names don’t sound familiar to you? Then it is absolutely time to get in touch with us.
