Presenting Beach de Lux

Beach de Lux is the first and only official beach volleyball club in Luxembourg and is located in Lintgen in the centre of Luxembourg. Founded in 2006, the club currently counts around 50 members who have been brought together through their passion for the sport. The club has been completely renewed in 2018/2019 and aims to establish itself in the Luxembourg sports landscape in the years to come. The offer of the club consists mainly of training and workshop sessions, a tournament series and the official Luxembourg Mixed Championship in association with the FLVB.

The time has finally come‼️
.
You can now register for the first training cycle which will take place from 19.04-16.05. Please register via our homepage www.beachdelux.lu (Our offer - Training sessions). LINK IN BIO!

Registration is open until Tuesday 13.04 inclusive. The training costs 35€ per cycle, no deposit is needed.
.
💥ATTENTION💥 Because it gets dark so early, we offer the following training times in the first cycle: 17:00-18:30, 18:45-20:15.
.
You will be contacted by our coaching team via Whatsapp after the training registration has been closed, as soon as they have decided on training groups. Please clarify everything else with the coaching team. If you have already registered before this post was published, please register again as we no longer have the information.

💥Remember that you must be a member of the club to register for training. New members please fill in the membership application form which can be found on our homepage (Documents). Renewing members can simply make a bank transfer with the note "membership fee, last name, first name". A new membership costs 50€, a renewing membership 40€💥

Dear members,

it was a weird (Covid-19-) beach volleyball summer, nevertheless we as a club tried to make the best out of it. We do not want to miss the opportunity to spend the time together on the beach courts for the last time this year. Interested? Read on 🙂
.
But keep in mind: Please respect the current regulations and bring a mask. Now to the exciting part:
.
On September 20th our members' tournament will take place in Lintgen and we hope to welcome you all on this event.
.
What will be played? We only say: You do not only, but above all, need your beach volleyball skills. Be prepared for a surprise. We can say this much: It will be a varied day with cool mini-games and various sports and games (spikeball, petanque, etc.). The fun and the coming together should be in the foreground. And of course, beach volleyball will be the main part of the programme. 😊

Registration deadline: Thursday 17.09.2020. at 13:00 pm

Costs: Free of charge and exclusively for our members
Food and drinks: can be bought from us for a fair price 😊

Meeting: 09:30 am, start at 10:00 am

Look forward to getting to know the other members and also the committee members and to spending a nice day with us in a relaxed atmosphere. Of course we hope for good weather. Fun and variety will be provided for in any case.

Final 4: We also want to remind you that on Saturday 19.09 our Final 4 of the Beach Leagues will take place in Lintgen, where you are all invited to support your friends. At 10:00 a.m. we start with mixed, at 13:30 p.m. the ladies and at 16:00 p.m. the men will start.

Dear Beachers, due to the current situation, our tournaments can not take place this year.
.
Alternative:
Over a period of 6 weeks all the teams from one league play against each other (1-2 games per week). Each week there will be a schedule of which games should be played during that week. The teams can decide for themselves on which day, at what time and where the game will be played. A game is played according to the official rules on 2 winning sets to 21 points (tie-break to 15 points), a referee is optional, after the game the results are communicated to the responsible people of the league (Bdl committee) in a shared whatsapp group. The results and the table are regularly updated and published. For the 4 best teams of each league (men, women, mixed) we want to organize a round of the best 4 with refereeing in September (if the situation allows it), where there will be prizes to win. We are aware that many interested people will go on holiday during this time. However, these people can also register, as long as they agree to play 3 or 4 games per week instead of 1 or 2 games per week. We are appealing for personal responsibility, mutual respect and fairness.

- Period: 03.08.2020 – 11.09.2020
- Leagues: Women / Men / Mixed
- Mode: League-form, possibly 2 leagues with performance groups and/or round robin (depending on the number of registered teams)
- Registration fees: 10€ per person for members of the club / 20€ per person for non-members
- Communication: Beach de Lux League 2020, first and last name, telephone number of both players
